Job Title : Financial Accountant
Job Description
This position involves preparing and presenting financial statements, reviewing and analyzing all supporting reconciliations, and supporting annual budgeting activities. You will respond to inquiries from internal and external clients and lead a team of Accounts Receivable resources, ensuring accountability and performance through one-on-one reviews of KPIs and goals. Additionally, the role requires involvement in process improvements and enhancements to reduce close timelines.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and present financial statements.
- Review and analyze supporting reconciliations.
- Support annual budgeting processes.
- Respond to inquiries from internal and external clients.
- Lead and manage a team of 5 Accounts Receivable resources, ensuring accountability and performance.
- Conduct one-on-one reviews of KPIs, performance, and goals.
- Participate in process improvements and enhancements to streamline operations.

Work Environment
You will work in a new office with a business casual dress code, reporting to the Financial Accountant for the Agile Team and working closely with the VP of Operations. The role involves leading a team of 5-7 Accounts Receivable resources, with flexible hours starting between 7 : 30 AM and 8 : 00 AM and a 7-hour workday. There is a 1-hour unpaid lunch break, and the position offers a hybrid work environment, with two days in the office, including Tuesday as a set day. The office is transit accessible and provides a monthly parking pass for $88 per month as a taxable benefit. This role can be based in Dartmouth or Surrey, with a slight preference for Dartmouth.

The pay range for this position is $85000.00 - $91000.00 / yr.
