Description :
We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Financial Coordinator / Controller to join our energetic team. The successful candidate will oversee the company's financial operations, ensuring compliance with financial regulations and the accuracy of all financial records. This role also involves providing crucial financial insights to guide decision-making. Prior experience and related accounting practices within the real estate sector is helpful.
Responsibilities :
Accounts Payable and receivable
Oversee financial records, including bookkeeping, payroll, and banking
Process financial transactions, such as purchasing, vendor payments, staff payroll, invoicing, and reimbursements
Monitor and review internal controls to ensure efficiency and mitigate financial risks.
Create and review journal entries
Reconcile general ledger accounts
Analyze budgets and expenditures
Prepare P / L statements for multiple business units
Support the finance and account services team with various admin / finance requests
Advise on budget and cost-recovery requirements
Assist clients with financial reports, policies and payments
Cost tracking for project costs and various cost centers
Resolve financial discrepancies
Prepare briefing notes in response to financial information requests
Skills and Qualifications :
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred.
Minimum of 2 years of experience in an accounting role, with at least 1 year in a payables or bookkeeping position.
In-depth knowledge of accounting software, Quickbooks, Microsoft Office / Google sheets (Excel proficiency is a must) and other payment management software.
Strong attention to detail and exceptional organizational and analytical skills.
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across departments if needed.
Good interpersonal and customer service skills
Ability to work independently and collaborate with a team
Ability to adapt to changing business needs
