The First Nations Human Resources Development Commission of Quebec (FNHRDCQ) is seeking an Executive Director to lead the organization in fulfilling its mission. Under the authority of the Executive Committee and in compliance with the FNHRDCQ’s by-laws, values, and strategic directions, the Executive Director will ensure the sound management of the organization’s services and resources while supporting the achievement of mandates and strategic objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Innovate, define and propose objectives, directions and indicators for strategic plans based on the First Nations’ issues and priorities
- Identify political and strategic issues that need to be brought to the attention of the Regional Chief and the Chief responsible for the FNHRDCQ file
- Advocate for the interests of the collective (local and urban) at the national and provincial levels by participating in committees, engagement sessions, technical work, and negotiations
- Seek out development opportunities that could help the organization fulfill its mission and mandates
