We design and develop exciting, patented, and innovative technologies that make a real and lasting impact across multiple industries.

At the heart of our success are the values that guide everything we do:

  • People – our team is what makes us special
  • Passion – from our hearts and minds, demonstrated through our actions
  • Priority – we put the customer first, every day, in everything we do
  • Partnership – with each other, our customers, and our suppliers

We provide a supportive environment where hard work, passions, and goals are recognized. Innovation and collaboration are at the heart of what we do. Share your drive and aspirations with us, and we'll ensure that your efforts open doors to new opportunities and growth.

THE POSITION

Reporting directly to the President, the Vice President of Finance plays a critical role on the Executive Leadership Team, providing strategic, results-driven leadership across the organization. You will help drive our growth to nine-figure revenue through multiple business streams while strengthening the financial foundation that supports our global expansion.

This role leads all financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, compliance, and long-term strategic planning across Canada, the United States, India, Southeast Asia, and China. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, prioritizes effectively, communicates with clarity and confidence, and operates with a high degree of autonomy.

HOW YOU WILL BE MAKING AN IMPACT

  • Serve as strategic partner to the President and Executive Leadership Team to drive enterprise planning, financial strategy, and key decisions.
  • Build, lead, and scale a high-performing finance and accounting organization.
  • Own accurate, timely financial reporting and lead budgeting, forecasting, performance management, and KPI development.
  • Manage working capital, including cash flow, capital allocation, and foreign exchange exposure.
  • Identify and mitigate financial and operational risks while ensuring compliance with all financial regulations, tax laws, and reporting requirements (including U.S. taxes).
  • Establish and maintain strong financial controls, policies, systems, and governance.
  • Optimize NetSuite and financial technologies to improve efficiency, automation, and insight.
  • Prepare and present financial analysis and recommendations to the Board of Directors.
  • Lead relationships with banks, auditors, and other external financial partners.
  • Serve as a trusted financial advisor to leaders across the organization.
  • Scale finance operations, processes, and infrastructure to support rapid global growth.
  • Oversee payroll, commissions, and benefits for Canadian and U.S. employees.
  • Provide executive oversight of additional functions as required.

WHAT DOES SUCCESS LOOK LIKE

  • Serves as a trusted strategic advisor to the President and Executive Leadership Team, driving clear, data-backed decisions.
  • Establishes and executes a financial strategy that supports profitable growth and progress toward nine-figure revenue.
  • Delivers accurate, timely, audit-ready financial reporting trusted by leadership, the Board, and external stakeholders.
  • Leads disciplined budgeting, forecasting, and KPI reporting to guide priorities, investment, and risk management.
  • Actively manages cash flow, working capital, and foreign exchange to protect liquidity and fund growth.
  • Identifies and mitigates financial and operational risks before they impact the business.
  • Build strong controls, compliant processes, and scalable systems, including a well-optimized NetSuite environment.
  • Develops a high-performing finance team equipped to support global operations.
  • Communicates clearly and confidently with the Board, providing actionable insight and recommendations.
  • Maintains strong, credible relationships with banks, auditors, and external partners.
  • Ensures payroll and compensation processes run accurately and seamlessly across Canada and the U.S.
  • Positions finance function as a growth enabler supporting expansion across regions and business lines.

WHAT SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE YOU REQUIRE

  • CPA designation with 10+ years of progressive senior finance leadership experience; manufacturing or industrial environment strongly preferred.
  • Proven ability to define and execute financial strategy in high-growth, complex organizations.
  • Strong financial analysis, forecasting, and performance management expertise.
  • Demonstrated experience leading multi-entity, multi-currency, and cross-border operations (Canada and U.S.).
  • Deep understanding of cost accounting, margin improvement, and working capital optimization in operating environments.
  • Executive-level communication skills, with experience presenting to Boards and senior stakeholders.
  • Strong governance mindset with expertise in financial controls, compliance, and audit readiness.
  • ERP and systems leadership experience with interest in automation and AI-enabled finance.
  • Track record of building and developing high-performing finance teams.
  • High integrity, sound judgment, and strong business acumen with a collaborative leadership style.

THE BENEFITS OF BEING PART OF OUR TEAM

We believe that a healthy, supported team is key to our success. That's why we offer a total compensation package that prioritizes work-life balance, financial wellness, and overall well-being.

Our team members enjoy:

  • Competitive executive compensation package with base salary starting at $ 220,000
  • 30% annual bonus based on performance metrics.
  • Opportunity to be elected into company stock option program
  • Comprehensive group insurance benefits
  • Employer-funded Health Care Spending Account
  • Generous employee-focused leave, including vacation, personal/sick days, and paid holiday shutdown
  • Company-matched RRSP program
