Job descriptionIdentify opportunities for growth and process improvement. Work closely with senior management to act as a trusted advisor and contribute to strategic things. Review financial results, identify variances from forecasts, and recommend corrective actions based on performance indicators. Develop tracking tools to evaluate performance, anticipate opportunities, and manage risks using reliable date. Business Intelligence (BI) Solutions : Train and support teams in using BI tools effectively. Collaborate with other departments to ensure alignment of financial goals and the success of cross-functional projects. University degree in accounting, finance, economics, or a related field. 15 years of experience in a similar role, with expertise in managing complex financial partnerships. 10 years of team management experience. CPA or CFA designation. Experience in the engineering or professional services sector (an asset). Strategic mindset with sound decision-making abilities. Strong ability to analyze complex financial data and provide strategic recommendations. Excellent financial and budget management skills. Expertise in developing robust profitability analyses and evaluating impact. Strategic planning experience and collaboration with executive leadership. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly to leadership. Bilingual in English and French. Position Description
As Senior Director, Finance Business Partnerships at CIMA+, your main responsibility will be to work closely with and develop strategic partnerships with senior leadership to enhance financial performance and ensure the company's competitiveness.
This position is preferably based in Laval , with Montreal as a possible alternative location.
Main Responsibilities
Reporting to the Senior Vice President, Finance, the incumbent will be responsible for :
- Prepare annual budgets and financial forecasts to ensure alignment with the company's strategic objectives.
- Develop and evaluate profitability analyses for new projects and initiatives in collaboration with stakeholders.
- Strategic Plan :
Participate in the development and implementation of the company's overall strategy.
Implement BI tools to enhance data analysis.
