THE OPPORTUNITY

This is a unique opportunity to join the Business Finance Department where you will be part of the team responsible for producing insightful financial analysis to optimize Aritzias financial assets and business decisions. As an Intern in Business Finance you will contribute to Aritzias future growth by supporting the development of strategic financial insights and solutions to support the growing business. As one of our business support functions this is a special opportunity to develop subject matter expertise in a core business area as you grow your financial analysis skills . Our goal is that you will come out of your internship inspired with meaningful experience and an enhanced skill set you can carry forward into your bright future.

THE ROLE

As an I ntern in Business Finance you will support with :

• Forecasting sales and / or business expenses in the short and long term simultaneously analyzing and explaining key drivers of future growth
• Understanding and analyzing business results including the internal (business-driven) and external (macroeconomic) drivers for P&L line items
• Supporting our business partners with financial analysis insights and go-forward recommendations on sales events special projects and business initiatives
• Identifying opportunities for smart spend management through informed and fact-based business decisions
• Providing our business partners and Aritzia Leadership Team with timely and accurate reporting on performance results calling out key highlights risks and opportunities

THE QUALIFICATIONS

The Intern Business Finance has / is :

Preferably pursuing a degree in Finance Accounting or Business

WHY BUSINESS FINANCE

Business Finance offers you the ability to understand the Key Drivers and KPIs in the business and how we leverage and use them to Maximize Sales and drive Smart Spending through informed business decisions.

Gain understanding of existing Operational reporting and recommend other reporting capabilities across different areas of the business

Support with financial analysis to drive insightful business recommendations
