The service department is an important area of our business, ensuring that our equipment is ready and available for our customers. This position requires a hard-working, dedicated individual with excellent attention to detail, who can excel in a busy, team-oriented environment.Job DescriptionParticipate in safe workplace safety, environmentally sound behaviors and practices at all times in support of Battlefield's health and safety policy programs and initiatives;Performs work as outlined on repair order with efficiency and accuracy in accordance with company and manufacturer standards;Perform inspections on equipment on job site;Ensure parts are ordered in a timely manner;Maneuver efficiently and effectively within the region in all traffic situations;Responsible for truck inventory and work order practices;Provide excellent customer relations in a fast-paced;Adaptable to on-call work schedules and willing to work in all weather conditions;Ensure vehicle is maintained and organized;Minor to major repairs in all weather conditions Perform other duties as assigned.Key Qualifications5+ years' experience;Existing knowledge of construction equipment and building products, specifically CAT;Hands on experience in the repair and service / maintenance requirements for various types of construction equipment;Ability to work independently, and in a team atmosphere;Good communication and people skills;Strong time management and organizational skills;Operate and maintain all shop equipment and ensure a safe, clean & organized shop area;All other duties as assigned by the Branch & Service Managers.Additional Qualifications and SkillsApplicant must be able to perform heavy lifting, as heavy lifting will be required frequently;The ideal candidate will have previous experience with CAT Equipment;Your own tools are required.  Job Type : Full-time, Permanent Salary : $30.00 per hour Benefits : Company pensionDental careDisability insuranceExtended health careLife insuranceOn-site parkingStock optionsVision careSchedule : Day shift Experience : Mechanical : 5 years (preferred) Work Location : In person Battlefield Equipment Rentals is committed to creating an inclusive environment where people from all backgrounds can thrive.
