Imagine yourself… Doing meaningful work that makes an everyday impact on the world around you, while joining a company with a proven track record of success and an exciting future.

It’s possible with a role at OTT HydroMet, where you’ll have the chance to shape the future of your career—and the future of our planet.

In a world increasingly focused on how humans can responsibly live within our environment, OTT HydroMet, a Veralto company, is on the frontlines of creating the critical water and weather solutions that ensure a safer future for us all. By partnering with our customers around the world, we help detect floods, make solar power more efficient, protect the environment, and ultimately save lives.

Our collaborative, diverse team is made up of engineers and scientists, marketers and researchers; people who’ve been in the industry for decades or have just arrived with fresh ideas. We’re driven by a love of problem‑solving and inventive thinking, and by the unique impact our customers make on people’s everyday lives. Bringing our global team together within our renowned brands affords us unsurpassed strength and expertise in meteorology and hydrology—and gives you the chance to build a meaningful career, with work that makes an everyday impact and a culture that prioritizes your growth and development.

We are seeking a detail‑oriented and technically skilled Test Technician to support our Manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing testing on Printed Circuit Board Assemblies (PCBAs) and data loggers by following defined Acceptance Test Procedures (ATPs). This role involves updating ATPs to maintain accuracy, collaborating with engineering teams to troubleshoot issues, and working cross‑functionally to ensure production goals are met.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform testing of PCBAs and data loggers in accordance with current ATPs.
  • Update and maintain ATPs to ensure testing processes remain accurate and effective.
  • Collaborate directly with Engineering to troubleshoot both process‑related and product performance issues.
  • Support production teams cross‑functionally to meet delivery schedules and resolve test‑related challenges.
  • Document test results and communicate any test failures or anomalies.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives focused on quality, reliability, and efficiency.

Qualifications

  • Associate degree in Electronics, Engineering Technology, or related field preferred; equivalent work experience may be considered.
  • 2+ years of experience in a test or manufacturing environment working with electronic components or systems.
  • Familiarity with test equipment (e.g., oscilloscopes, multimeters, power supplies, data acquisition tools).
  • Ability to read and interpret technical documents, schematics, and test procedures.
  • Strong problem‑solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Experience working in a cross‑functional team environment.
  • Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working within an ERP system.
  • Background in Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma principles.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and basic data entry / reporting tools.
  • Work Environment

  • Fast‑paced manufacturing and engineering environment.
  • May require standing for extended periods and occasional lifting of up to 35 lbs.
  • Use of personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.
  • Location

    US Only.
