Steinbergs LLP provides all the advantages and amenities of a downtown firm in a relaxed, hybrid, informal atmosphere with the full technical, administrative and peer support necessary to work on complex and challenging files.
Role Description
This is a full-time Family Lawyer role at Steinbergs LLP, located in Toronto, ON. The Family Lawyer will be responsible for handling family law cases, providing legal advice and representation to clients, drafting legal documents, and representing clients in court proceedings.
Qualifications
- Family Law knowledge and experience
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Strong analytical and research skills
- Strong litigation and negotiation skills
- Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school
- Member in good standing with the Law Society of Ontario
- Experience in mediation and alternative dispute resolution is a plus
- The ideal candidate must have at least 3 years of related legal experience and have a partial or full practice with an opportunity to work on internally referred matters.
