Now Hiring : Maintenance Technician
Location : 90 Engelhard Drive, Aurora, ON
Type : Full-time | Flexible / Rotational shifts including weekends
We're looking for a skilled and dependable Maintenance Technician to join our growing team. This is a hands-on role focused on ensuring the safe, efficient, and reliable operation of all facility and production equipment. If you have mechanical and electrical troubleshooting experience, thrive in fast-paced environments, and take pride in your workwe'd love to meet you.
Key Responsibilities :
Ensure the safe and reliable operation of all production and facility equipment
Perform regular inspections and preventive maintenance to avoid equipment breakdowns
Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, and basic automation issues
Report equipment deficiencies immediately and keep accurate maintenance logs
Support the company's Continuous Improvement Program
Prioritize work orders in coordination with the Production Supervisor to minimize downtime
Maintain a clean and organized maintenance area
Follow all Health and Safety protocols in line with Treasure Mills' safety program
Exhibit positive, team-oriented behaviours and contribute to a collaborative workplace
Consider long-term sustainability and support initiatives to reduce, reuse, and recycle
Keep current on all workplace health and safety matters relevant to your role
Requirements :
Minimum 2 years of industrial maintenance experience, preferably in a food manufacturing environment
Experience working with flow wrappers, robots, conveyors, and high-speed packaging equipment
Mechanical and basic electrical troubleshooting skills required
Familiarity with PLCs and electronic controls is an asset
Knowledge of HACCP and food safety practices preferred
SAP and SQR knowledge are considered assets
Strong communication skills (verbal and written) and ability to complete accurate shift reports
Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced, high-demand environment
Flexible with shift times; weekend work is required
Schedule :
Shifts are 45 days per week and range from 8 to 12 hours in length.
