Job description
Role Summary We are seeking a senior household operations professional responsible for end-to-end management of a busy family household. This role combines logistics, property oversight, family scheduling, travel coordination, and vendor management to ensure the home runs seamlessly and the family’s time is protected. The position supports a family of four with two active children in a travel-heavy lifestyle. Core Objectives • Ensure the home operates smoothly, efficiently, and proactively • Coordinate schedules, transportation, and daily routines • Oversee home, vehicles, vendors, and maintenance • Maintain home continuity during frequent travel • Reduce friction in daily life through planning and execution Key Responsibilities – Family & Children Logistics • Manage and maintain family calendar (school, sports, appointments, activities) • Coordinate daily transportation for children • Plan weekly schedules and logistics • Ensure children have supplies, clothing, and equipment • Coordinate and provide children care when required Household Operations • Weekly grocery planning and purchasing • Meal planning and light food preparation • Inventory management of household supplies • Oversee weekly house cleaning • Organize home systems and storage Property & Vendor Management • Primary contact for vendors and contractors • Schedule and oversee cleaning, landscaping, repairs and maintenance • Maintain preventative maintenance calendar Vehicle & Insurance Management • Coordinate vehicle maintenance and registration • Manage auto and home insurance renewals • Track warranties and service records Travel & Absence Support • Prepare home before travel • Maintain property while family is away • Coordinate pet care and deliveries Pet Care Management • Coordinate veterinary appointments and grooming • Arrange pet sitting or boarding • Maintain daily pet routines Administrative Support • Track household expenses • Assist with bill payments and subscriptions • Maintain household manuals and digital systems Ideal Candidate • 5 years of household or executive assistant experience • Strong organization, discretion, and communication • Primary place of employment (not a supplemental or secondary role) • Problem solver with high flexibility • Valid driver’s license with reliable vehicle • Enjoys children • First Aid/CPR Training • Resume required with references • Criminal record check required Work Schedule • 20-30hrs/ week with flexibility for evenings or weekends as required. • Target: September 2026 start date Compensation • Competitive salary, paid vacation, mileage reimbursement, long-term role growth potential.
