Job descriptionCredentials : Postsecondary program in electromechanical systems or trades certifications (Mechanical 310T, or CF military equivalent). Experience : Minimum five years in a commercial or industrial setting, with technical training experience preferred. Skills : Proficient in troubleshooting, diagnostic tools, and technical systems like Maximo, SCADA, or PLC. Team-Oriented : Comfortable in close-knit environments, motivated to support mission-critical operations. Rotation & Overtime : Rotational travel up to 12 weeks / year; overtime paid at 1.5x base rate. All travel costs covered. Comprehensive Benefits : Health, dental, vision, disability, life insurance, and employer-matched pension (up to 5%). Additional Perks : Annual safety footwear allowance, $500 referral bonus, and career training support. Vacation Pay : Generous vacation pays increasing with tenure.

Salary Range : $38.56 To $48.20 Hourly

Please note : This is a full time, Unionized position located in North Bay, ON, that requires daily onsite presence.
What You’ll Do
- Provide technical support to LRR Facilities Maintenance Technicians, NWSCC Crew Technicians, and Engineers.
- Perform preventive, corrective maintenance, and overhauls on diesel electric generators and facilities equipment.
- Assist in the maintenance and installation of systems like power generation, HVAC, and fire suppression.
- Develop and deliver training sessions, webinars, and workshops.
- Analyze equipment failures and recommend corrective actions.
