ACCOUNTABILITY STATEMENT :

The Lead Business Planning will facilitate business initiatives across the organization working in alignment with senior leadership to ensure strategic business priorities are identified and implemented. This role will lead the development and authoring of the organizations annual business plan and annual report.

MAJOR DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES :

Business Planning and Strategic Support

• Lead the establishment and continuous improvement of the annual business planning process.
• Coordinate and develop Ontario Northlands Business Plan and Annual Report ensuring compliance with provincial requirements.
• Gather verify and synthesize content and data for business planning documents.
• Work with senior leaders to define strategic priorities key performance indicators and business case requirements.
• Support Finance in ensuring that operating and capital plans align with business planning objectives.
• Provide guidance and oversight to the Business Planning Specialist ensuring alignment with strategic initiatives.
• Provide guidance and oversight to the Business Planning Specialist ensuring their work aligns with strategic initiatives including financial modeling forecasting and data analysis to support business planning efforts.
