Job description

Call Centre Room Booking Coordinator

Regular Full-time

Duties: This position reports to the Associate Registrar and Manager of Enrolment Services and is responsible for operating the main campus switchboard, room bookings coordination for Cranbrook and Gold Creek campuses facilities, room booking requests for staff, students, and the general public. The successful candidate would also provide a wide range of administrative support for Enrolment Services.

Qualifications: The successful candidate will have an Office Administration Certificate & Specialty (Administrative Studies or Bookkeeping Certificate) or equivalent post-secondary coursework along with a minimum two years of related work experience in a high-volume customer service environment. In addition to strong computer skills including proficiency with Microsoft Office software, candidates must have excellent communication, interpersonal and public relations skills able to work in a confidential environment. Experience in evacuation and emergency procedures is desirable.

Salary: CUPE Pay Level 4 with a starting wage of $46,810 per year starting wage with increments progressing to Step 5 as per the CUPE Collective Agreement. The College also offers a comprehensive range of benefits including defined pension, generous vacation entitlements, health and dental plans, and more.
