Job description

About the Opportunity

The OPOR Program manager works largely independent and addresses issues and makes decisions of high complexity with little or no supervision and delivers clear communication and documentation of complex concepts and issues across the organizations. This includes :

  • Overseeing the team leading the analysis and dissemination of best practice standards and content
  • clearly communicating both up (sr. leadership) and down (front line staff) across the organization
  • facilitating consensus and decision making across broad stakeholder groups and supporting the team to provide the same
  • being organized, outcomes driven, ensuring teams and working groups are preparing work packages and decision documents for review by stakeholder / working groups
  • Strong ability to understand and support system level impacts and decisions while narrowing focus to translate and communicate stakeholder impact effectively
  • Lead and oversee patient billing, charge services, and supply chain operations to align with financial and operational objectives.
  • Ensure compliance with financial policies, regulatory changes, and provincial standards related to patient billing, procurement, and supply chain management.
  • Optimize perioperative supply chain operations by maintaining accurate picklists and ensuring SAP system updates support seamless scanning and reporting.
  • Provide leadership and mentorship to a diverse team, fostering collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.
  • Utilize data-driven decision-making to analyze financial trends, reduce inefficiencies, and support financial sustainability initiatives.

About You

We would love to hear from you if you have the following :

  • Undergraduate degree in a health or technology related field. Consideration may be given to those with appropriate training and work experience
  • Minimum of 5 to 7 years’ leadership experience within healthcare (clinical, clinical informatics, etc.)
  • Technical Expertise : Strong knowledge of SAP or other ERP systems, particularly in billing, charge capture, and supply chain modules preferred
  • Supply Chain Management : experience in procurement, vendor management, and inventory control preferred (perioperative supply chain experience is an asset).
  • Revenue Cycle Knowledge : Understanding of healthcare revenue cycle management, including billing workflows, charge reconciliation, and financial reporting preferred
  • Leadership Skills : Demonstrated ability to lead teams through system implementation, process improvements, and organizational change.
  • Financial Acumen : Experience with budgeting, forecasting, and cost analysis preferred
  • Technology Skills : Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and familiarity with data analytics tools.
  • Certifications : Project management and change management certification (e.g., PMP, PROSCI) is an asset.
  • Communication : Excellent stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to drive adoption and foster collaboration

    Hours

  • Permanent, Full-time Position; 75 Hours Bi-weekly
  • Hybrid Work Model (work from home and in office)
  • Travel to various sites may be required
  • OPOR Go lives may require working extended shifts, weekends and or nights
  • Compensation and Benefits

    46.36 - $57.95 Hourly

    Successful candidates may be eligible for our benefits package which includes health, dental, travel, long-term disability, and life insurance coverage as well as a defined benefit pension plan.
