Job description

Adecco is actively seeking a skilled Heavy Equipment Technician to join our client's team in Oshawa, ON. This is a permanent position with a competitive salary of $75,000 per annum. In this role, you will ensure that equipment is operational and well-maintained, travelling to client locations across Ontario to provide top-notch service.

  • Pay Rate : $75k / year.

Responsibilities :

  • Travel to client locations throughout Ontario to service and repair equipment.
  • Utilize various tools and processes for equipment maintenance and repairs.
  • Troubleshoot mechanical issues, providing effective solutions to ensure proper operating conditions.
  • Inspect and diagnose equipment to identify necessary repairs and maintenance.
  • Proactively identify required work and communicate effectively with supervisors.
  • Complete paperwork in a timely manner to ensure accurate records.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work vehicle and work area.
  • Follow all company policies, procedures, and safety regulations.
  • Requirements :

  • Legal eligibility to work and reside in Canada.
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience in a technician or mechanic position, preferably with heavy equipment.
  • Strong hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical aptitude, with experience using various power tools.
  • Clean criminal background and valid G Driver's license with a clean driver's abstract.
  • Experience with hydraulics and electrical assembly is an asset.
  • Ability to manage multiple and changing priorities, working well under pressure.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills; experience dealing with customers in the field is a plus.
