Job description
Are you looking for a temporary placement that offers hands-on experience in a dynamic work environment?

We are seeking an Equipment Inventory & Labeling Assistant for a temporary position working with our client. This role is ideal for an individual focused on meticulous inventory management, equipment labeling, and supporting their maintenance tracking system.

The primary responsibility is to inventory and label all equipment and devices onsite within established criteria to facilitate maintenance tracking. The individual must be comfortable working with and handling various mechanical equipment.

If you are dependable, detail-oriented, and looking for a short-term opportunity to gain experience in asset management, this could be the right fit for you.

Position Type: Temporary
Start Date: As soon as possible
End Date: March 31, 2026 (with the possibility of extension)
Location: Victoria, BC (West Saanich)
Wage Estimate: $22/hour

Advantages

Responsibilities
• Perform a comprehensive inventory of all devices and equipment onsite
• Accurately mark and label all equipment according to specified tracking criteria
• Record equipment data for input into the maintenance tracking system
• Follow measurements, instructions, and procedures precisely
• Keep work area clean and organized
• Follow safety regulations

Qualifications
• Mandatory Reliability Security Clearance required before starting work
• Vehicle needed for site access
• Some working knowledge of mechanical equipment
• Effective communication with supervisors and ability to follow instructions
• Ability to perform physically demanding tasks (standing, reaching, bending) as required for inventory tasks
• Experience in inventory, asset management, or similar meticulous data/labeling tasks is preferred
• Education required only if essential for duties
