We are seeking a highly skilled Chartered Chemist to lead our laboratory operations within the Industrial Waste Division. This is a working supervisor role and is ideal for a technically driven professional who thrives in a hands‑on environment, ensuring the safe, compliant, and efficient processing of diverse waste streams.
Location : 5597 Power Rd.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise laboratory staff and oversee daily lab operations
- Maintain and calibrate laboratory equipment to ensure accuracy and reliability
- Verify and categorize waste stream characterization in compliance with Reg. 347
- Provide technical expertise to the sales team regarding waste treatment and disposal options
- Ensure quality control for all inbound and outbound waste streams
- Oversee waste processing activities including bulking, blending, and neutralization
- Amend manifests as required to reflect accurate waste characterization
- Source and negotiate optimal disposal solutions for various waste streams
