Canadian National Railway Company (CN) is looking for a highly motivated person to fulfill a full-time (40h / week) Intern, Environmentalposition in Montreal, QC from May - Aug 2025.
Job Summary
The Intern, Environmental is responsible for designing and developing Power BI reports and dashboards tailored to meet the needs of business stakeholders. Key tasks include gathering business requirements for data visualization, collaborating with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to acquire and clean data, and creating complex Data Analysis Expressions (DAX) calculations to support in-depth analysis. Furthermore, the intern ensures data security and compliance, troubleshoots issues in reports, and provides training and support to end users on Power BI functionalities.
Major Responsibilities
- Design and develop Power BI reports and dashboards to meet the business stakeholders' needs
- Gather and understand business requirements for data visualization and analysis
- Collaborate with data SMEs to acquire clean and transform data for reporting purposes
- Create complex DAX calculations and measures to support data analysis
- Ensure data security and compliance with best practices
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues in Power BI reports
- Provide training and support to end users on using Power BI
