A valid BC teaching certificate and current membership in The Ministry of Education and Childcare. Ability to assist students as needed in a variety of curriculum areas at senior grade levels. Experience in online curriculum development and delivery in accordance with the standards for K-12 online learning in B.C. Expertise in the use of educational technologies for teaching and learning, especially course management software and both synchronous and asynchronous online delivery software. Able to utilize technology to deliver components of online programs designed for online delivery via learning management systems (Moodle and Brightspace). Able to cope with ragged entry and exit for students by providing flexible learning opportunities in the online courses delivered. A high degree of technological literacy demonstrating an interest in technology integration. Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively using online communication platforms (audio, video, email, phone, chat) with parents, students and staff.
