Job descriptionPension Program with Sutherland Group matching contributions up to 100%, starting at 3%, increasing in graduated increments and topping out at 5% after 8 years. Extended health benefits program through a cost shared benefits plan. Confidential Employee Family Assistance Program Health & Safety Policy & Programs Wheel Loader : moving chips, supplying the chippers with logs Log Loader : unloading trucks, feeding the chippers, down decking logs Chipper : feeding pulp logs Operate equipment in a safe and efficient manner, perform daily equipment inspections and maintenance. Operate other heavy equipment as required and instructed by site supervisors. Ability to travel to various job sites as required. Ensure company policies, core values and culture are being consistently upheld. General job set-up, site clean up, and materials removal. Minimum 2 years’ experience operating Wheel Loader, Log Loader or Excavator Preferrable experience using a Chipper Mechanical aptitude and capable of performing basic daily equipment maintenance is a necessity. Motivated self-starter with positive attitude and proven safety record. Experience running other types of heavy equipment would be an asset. Valid Class 5 driver’s licence. Physically fit and able to walk uneven ground, chip piles and log yard locations. Team player who is willing to pitch in wherever needed.
