One of our major higher education clients is looking for a Production Support Analyst - Oracle / Ellucian  Length : 3 months contract with high possibility of extension Location : Greater Toronto Area, ON - Hybrid  OVERVIEW : Our client seeks technical support services, including Oracle Apps / DBA support services to assist the IT team in managing Oracle-based Banner environments and related third-party applications. SCOPE OF WORK : - Perform regular deployments and install patches for Oracle Databases.- General upgrade and configuration support.- Data refreshes, cloning and performance tuning.- Production and non-production database support for Oracle, Ellucian Banner and other third-party applications.o Monitoring databases to ensure stability and identify issues early on.o Troubleshooting and collecting all required information and reports.o Identifying root cause and providing recommendations on long-term fixes and improvements.o Following up on Service Requests with Oracle, Ellucian and other vendors.o Maintain technical documentation.- Conduct assessments to identify vulnerabilities in the database and take steps to address and maintain the security posture of the environment.- After-hours support required. 24 / 7 availability. QUALIFICATION : - Experience with Oracle Database- Experience with Troubleshooting- Experience with Ellucian and other third party applications  URGENT : Please read the job description above.
