Bruce Auto Group is looking for an Accounting Administrator to join the team! In this role, youll be an integral part of our accounting team, helping ensure the smooth and accurate processing of daily financial transactions across our Yarmouth dealerships. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, has a sharp eye for detail, and takes pride in keeping operations organized, accurate, and running efficiently behind the scenes.

What You'll Do:

• Complete and verify daily cash reports for all stores
• Manage and reconcile petty cash
• Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable, including following up on outstanding payments
• Reconcile accounting schedules and investigate discrepancies
• Stock incoming vehicles and maintain accurate inventory records
• Pay out liens and post bank funding
• Accurately post vehicle sales deals and floorplan transactions, ensuring compliance requirements are met
• Complete inventory and funding adjustments
• Prepare and verify accounting entries for vehicle sales, trade-ins and financing
• Maintain organized financial records and supporting documentation
• Assist with general accounting duties as needed

What We're Looking For:

• You have strong attention to detail and are able to maintain a high level of accuracy.

• You are comfortable working with accounting software, spreadsheets and/or Dealer Management Systems.

• You have excellent interpersonal and communication skills and enjoy working as part of a team.

• You are self-motivated, able to work with minimal supervision, and can meet deadlines.

• You are eager to learn and expand your accounting knowledge.

• Accounting experience is considered a strong asset.
