Job Description
Potentia Human Resources is pleased to partner with the Central Okanagan Foundation (COF) to recruit a Finance Manager. This role offers the opportunity to apply strong accounting and financial management skills in a purpose-driven environment, supporting sound stewardship, operational excellence, and meaningful community impact. Reporting to the CEO and working closely with an Accounting Technician and external partners, the Finance Manager plays an important role in ensuring financial accuracy, compliance, and transparency across the organization.
Key Responsibilities
Financial Leadership & Operations
- Oversee day-to-day financial operations and manage the work of the Accounting Technician.
- Ensure accuracy and integrity across financial systems, including Community Suite and Sage 50.
- Develop, document, and improve financial systems, procedures, and internal controls.
- Utilize Payworks to prepare biweekly payroll.
- Remain current on accounting standards, best practices, and sector trends.

Salary & Benefits
This role offers a competitive total compensation package, including an hourly rate of $46.00 –$51.00 (commensurate with experience and qualifications). The position is full-time, with flexibility for the right candidate who may prefer reduced hours (minimum four days per week). Additional benefits include extended health and dental coverage, RRSP matching, generous vacation entitlement, paid sick time and statutory holidays, and a supportive, flexible, and mission-driven work environment.
The successful candidate will be based in Kelowna, British Columbia and will join a dedicated, professional team committed to responsible stewardship and community impact.
