Job description

We are now searching for a top Administrator for our client in the construction industry! This is an excellent opportunity to grow your career ! This is a fantastic opportunity to earn competitive pay in amazing work environment.

Opportunity : Part Time, work from home - must be based in Victoria 8-10 hours a week

Salary : $22.50 per hour

Location : Victoria BC

Start date : ASAP

Responsibilities

Assist with organization and execution of annual conference

  • Track status and follow-up on event deliverables, activities, timelines
  • Solicit and finalize registration for trade show vendors
  • Solicit and finalize registration for conference sponsorships
  • Assist with development of signage, giveaways, banquet entertainment, other contracts, etc.
  • Attend the event itself to assist with delivery and logistics
  • Provide general administrative support

  • Draft and update client communications (drafting emails, web content, letters, speaking with members, vendors, other parties by phone, email, and in online / in-person meetings.
  • Website data entry
  • Records management (creating file structure on internal drive and in SharePoint; relocating and organizing electronic files)
  • Research and analysis of building official job posting to identify local government hiring and labour market trends
  • Spreadsheet development for tracking of member complaints, corporate deliverables
  • Develop draft documents for Executive Director and Board of Directors review
  • Qualifications

    Skills

  • Professional demeanour and punctual
  • Effective written and verbal communications
  • Ability to proofread, edit and format corporate documents
  • Demonstrated ability to provide exceptional member and stakeholder service
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Experience

  • Experience providing administrative support and client service
  • Considerable experience using Microsoft Office to create and format professional documents, spreadsheets is required
  • Some event management, planning or delivery experience would be an asset
