Accountant – $60K–$80K | Surrey, BC | In-Office, Full-Time

My client, a growing organization in the healthcare services sector, is seeking a hands-on Accountant to join their team in Surrey. This is an excellent opportunity for someone currently enrolled in the CPA program who’s looking for strong mentoring, professional growth, and a supportive work environment with real work-life balance.

What You’ll Do

Prepare and maintain financial records, reconciliations, and journal entries

Support month-end close and financial reporting, ensuring accuracy and timeliness

Assist with budgets, forecasts, and variance analysis

Maintain internal controls and support audits and year-end reviews

Contribute to process improvements and operational efficiency initiatives

What We’re Looking For

3–5+ years of accounting experience in a corporate or industry setting (BC-based)

Enrolled in CPA program (or near completion)

Strong understanding of Canadian GAAP

Experience with Microsoft Dynamics GP (Great Plains) is a plus

Excellent attention to detail and ability to multitask in a busy environment

Positive, team-oriented attitude and strong communication skills
