Job Overview
Teqare is seeking a dynamic and knowledgeable Instructor / Facilitator based in Winnipeg, MB. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging, interactive, and culturally relevant training sessions to diverse audiences, including Indigenous communities, youth, elders, and small organizations. This role requires a deep understanding of Indigenous culture, strong communication skills, and a passion for education and empowerment.
Key Responsibilities
- Facilitate Teqare’s workshops and training programs, including but not limited to :
- City Life Skills & Financial Excellence
- Scam Prevention & Cyber Safety
- Digital Literacy for Elders and Youth
- IT and Cyber Security Basics
- Train the Educator Programs
- Travel across Canada to deliver training sessions in both urban and remote Indigenous communities.
- Adapt training materials and delivery methods to meet the needs of different audiences, ensuring an inclusive and interactive learning environment.
- Engage with participants in an empathetic and culturally sensitive manner.
- Work closely with Teqare’s leadership team to refine and improve workshop content based on participant feedback.
- Represent Teqare professionally in all training settings, fostering positive relationships with communities, and organizations.
