Job descriptionDevelop short- and long-term capital investment plans, ensuring wise investments in cutting-edge equipment and technology. Be the driving force behind planning and executing investment projects while ensuring compliance with the highest industry standards. Develop and implement strategies that integrate vertical startup (VSU) and continuous improvement (CI) methodologies to maximize the efficiency of dairy operations. Be a leader in applying these methodologies to ensure operational excellence and achievement of objectives. Ensure unwavering compliance with safety standards and CNESST requirements, promoting a proactive safety culture within the plant. Initiate robust safety protocols to protect both employees and dairy production processes. Establish and maintain strong relationships with external partners, equipment suppliers, and specialized firms to foster successful investment projects in the dairy sector. Ensure that all collaborations are enriching and aligned with the strategic objectives of the plant. A minimum of 6 years of technical experience in project management or engineering, with a strong component related to the dairy sector. Excellent skills in engineering and problem-solving, with a successful track record in a production environment. Proven experience in leadership and team management, with a focus on the success of investment projects. In-depth knowledge of safety standards, quality assurance, and interactions among functions within the dairy industry. Undeniable ability to innovate and provide creative solutions to address sector challenges. Bilingual in French / English, with strong communication skills.
