Job descriptionBachelor’s degree in Industrial or Mechanical Engineering. 8 years of experience in a manufacturing environment. Bilingual with advanced computer software knowledge. Strong troubleshooting skills and a solid technical background. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement initiatives. PMP an asset Must be mechanically inclined and hands on. Must be available to travel as needed (up to 30%) Leadership qualities with a hands-on approach. Ability to analyze and solve complex problems. Familiarity with lean, six sigma, and kaizen methodologies. Experience in electromechanics or chemical processes.

What You Will Do :
As the Engineering Manager at Cryopak Canada, you will oversee the development and competitiveness of our manufacturing operations. Reporting to the Director of Operations, you will lead a team in optimizing processes, machinery, production, cost, safety, and quality. This role is crucial in ensuring the success of our plant operations and engineering projects.
Key Responsibilities :
- Manage a team by delegating tasks, providing mentorship, and conducting performance evaluations.
- Be hands-on in researching and implementing engineering solutions to enhance manufacturing efficiency.
- Identify equipment improvements with a focus on cost reduction opportunities.
- Coordinate equipment selection and start-up of manufacturing plants, ensuring practical execution.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental policies.
