Based in Ontario , the Contract Administrator, rcca, will report to the Project Manager and will have a wide range of duties which ultimately focus on administering MTO contracts.

You will be part of a team that offers services primarily to the provincial government, administering large-scale construction projects on highways throughout Ontario.

The team acts as a liaison between the Ministry of Transportation and the construction contractor undertaking the work, administering the construction contract, inspecting for adherence to specifications, handling quantity calculations, processing progress payments, etc.

This is a new position and the salary range is $75,000 - $110,000 annually.

What You’ll Do: The Contract Administrator will be part of the TULLOCH Contract Administration team.

You will: Administer Ministry of Transportation Contracts through monitoring, correspondence, and attending meetings Supervise inspection staff, provide necessary training, coordinate activities, and ensure timely deliverables Maintain client and contractor relationships Perform Quality Control of deliverables ensuring they are timely, complete, and meet Ministry standards, while ensuring all recordkeeping is thorough and accurate Undertake budget control, including working within an established budget, reviewing timesheets and monitoring expenses, ensuring all time and expenses are accounted for in the Weekly Status Reports, and bringing budget concerns to Project Manager Manage subconsultant agreements Please note that this job description is not meant to be an all-inclusive statement of every duty and responsibility that will ever be required of an employee in the job.

Who You Are: You hold the rcca (Road Construction Contract Administrator) certification with OACETT You can travel away from home for extended periods of time You enjoy writing reports used by clients You are always keen to try something new You work hard until the job is done You go where others will not or cannot because you love a challenge You are trusted with the freedom and responsibility to work independently while contributing to overall team success What You Should Bring: The ideal candidate will have completed a postsecondary program, preferably in Civil Engineering.

Additionally, you should have: Minimum of 2 previous MTO or Municipal projects as Contract Administrator (5 is an asset) High motivation with results-oriented focus Superior organizational and multi-tasking skills Strong interpersonal and critical thinking skills Excellent communication skills (oral and written) Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) Valid Class G driver’s licence and use of a personal vehicle What We Offer You: TULLOCH has built a passionate workforce with a strong and vibrant culture which has been the key to our success.
