Job descriptionPost-secondary education in Human Resources / Labour Relations. CPHR certification preferred. Knowledge of computer systems and proficiency in the use of various common software applications which may include, but is not limited to, Excel, Word, Outlook, databases, internet, and email applications. Understanding of Labour Relations Act, Human Rights, and other relevant legislation. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to retain information of a confidential nature. Strong problem-solving skills.

Position Overview
Experience
- Five (5) years’ experience in Human Resources / Labour Relations, preferably in a unionized and / or hospital setting, is required.
- Experience in administering collective agreements is required.
- Experience in recruitment activities is required.
- Experience in negotiating collective agreements is preferred.
- Experience in human resources training and education program development is an asset.
Education (Degree / Diploma / Certificate)
NOTE : An equivalent combination of education and experience, as deemed recognized by the hospital, may be considered in lieu of the above.
