Job description

We are looking for dedicated bilingual professionals to join a remote emergency support team, serving as a lifeline for individuals navigating challenging situations.

In this role, you aren’t just answering phones—you are a vital pillars of support. If you are highly dependable, deeply empathetic, and thrive in dynamic environments where your adaptability directly helps others, this mission is for you.

Contract Duration: Short-term campaign with the potential for extension depending on campaign needs and regional demand

Training: Fully paid, comprehensive remote onboarding provided
Location: 100% Remote (Canada-wide)
Schedule: 37.5 per week. Looking for open availability 7 days a week
Salary: $19.50 per hour

Responsibilities
Serve as the primary point of contact for inbound calls, greeting affected individuals with genuine warmth, empathy, and patience.

Provide clear, accurate, and reassuring guidance to callers navigating emergency circumstances.

Utilize provided scripts and guidelines effectively while maintaining a natural, authentic, and fluid human conversation.

Accurately input, track, and document call details within the system, ensuring urgent cases are escalated smoothly to leadership.

Maintain composure, efficiency, and focus during high-volume call periods to ensure every caller receives timely care.

Qualifications
Bilingual Communication: Advanced fluency in both French and English (written and verbal). This role requires English proficiency to serve our national/international clientele and collaborate with stakeholders outside of Quebec.

At least 6 months of customer service, administration, call center, or frontline support experience.

Technical Setup:

A reliable PC/Laptop running Windows 10 or higher (Mac, Chromebooks, and tablets are not compatible).

A high-speed, wired internet connection via Ethernet cable (no Wi-Fi, hotspots, or satellite internet).

A noise-canceling USB-connected headset and a functioning webcam.

Willingness to successfully complete a standard background check prior to your start date.
