Job descriptionMinimum 5 years of structural steel design and detailing At least 2 years in thin-shell dome or space-frame foundation projects Proven experience with modular or curtain-wall systems Eligible for Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) designation in a Canadian province or territory Spanish (asset; most clients are in Chile, Peru, and Argentina) AutoCAD STAAD Pro Microsoft Office Engineering consulting environment Office located in Arnprior, Ontario Occasional field work and client interfacing expected Salary : $70,000 to $80,000 CAD 30–35 hours per week Health and Dental Plan Paid training and learning opportunities Team building events Free on-site parking Resume Highest level of education and the institution attended Are you currently legally able to work in Canada? Are you willing to relocate for this position? Do you have prior experience in this field of employment? Do you have the required certifications? Triodetic designs and fabricates a wide range of steel structures—thin-shell domes, raft foundations, curtain walls, and other custom solutions—for projects across the globe. We are seeking an experienced Structural Engineer to join our innovative and collaborative team.
- Plan and design structural steel fabrications, including thin-shell domes and reticulated space-frame foundations
- Develop construction specifications and procedures
- Evaluate and recommend materials
- Ensure compliance with codes and regulatory guidelines
- Interpret and review civil survey data
- Prepare and review design documents and cost estimates
- Supervise and approve the work of junior engineers, technologists, and technicians
- Communicate effectively with internal teams and international clients
