About the Company - Our client in Cambridge is looking for a Licensed 309A OR 442A Electrician to join their team on the Afternoon shift, Monday to Friday from 3 : 30pm- 11 : 30pm!

Candidates MUST be a licensed electrician!
Responsibilities
- Modify, maintain, or repair electrical, electronic, or mechanical components, equipment, or systems to ensure proper functioning.
- Install or program computer hardware or machine or instrumentation software in microprocessor-based systems.
- Consult with mechanics to ensure that electromechanical equipment or systems meet design specifications.
- Routine preventative maintenance of high-speed production equipment
- Troubleshooting and repair manufacturing and production equipment to minimize line downtime and optimize production quality and efficiencies.
- Carry out PLC troubleshooting and programming changes as required.
- Participate in continuous improvement projects and complete assigned work orders according to PM schedules to improve equipment efficiency, reliability, and safety.
- Involved with equipment installations and modifications as required.
- Work in a safe manner ensuring all safety procedures are followed and ensuring compliance with legislation and electrical standards.
- Report any issues to maintenance planning coordinator immediately.
- Maintain safe and clean working environment by complying with health and safety and housekeeping practices and use of personal protective equipment.
- Adhere to food safety and GMP requirements while performing maintenance tasks to ensure safety and quality.
- Advise management on whether continued operation of equipment could be hazardous.
- Test electrical systems and continuity of circuits in electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures, using testing devices such as ohmmeters, voltmeters, and oscilloscopes, to ensure safety of system.
- Plan layout and installation of electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures, based on job specifications and local codes.
- Prepare sketches or follow blueprints to determine the location of wiring and equipment and to ensure conformance to building and safety codes.
- Place conduit (pipes or tubing) inside designated partitions, walls, or other concealed areas, and pull insulated wires or cables through the conduit to complete circuits between boxes.
- Work from ladders, scaffolds, and roofs to install, maintain or repair electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures.
- Electric and automation troubleshooting and installation.
- Follow Health and Safety rules and regulations, Good Manufacturing Practices, Food Safety, and Food Defense guidelines.
- Comply with all Company policies and procedures.
