Erie Meats is a privately owned & operated Canadian company with headquarters in Mississauga, Ontario and processing facilities in both Mississauga and Listowel, Ontario.JOB SUMMARYThe Electrician is responsible for performing preventative maintenance throughout the plant on electrical and mechanical equipment in accordance with standardized procedures.
ABOUT THE POSITION

• Troubleshoot and repair production equipment, hydraulic equipment, pneumatic equipment, electrical equipment and services.
• Support the plant stationary engineers in keeping the refrigeration system working as well as the boilers, wells, compressors and wastewater plant.
• Support production processes as needed.
• Have an understanding of PLC, Servos and utilize in order to support manufacturing processes, such as assembly lines.
• Complete electrical installations to meet company and ESA standards.
  

REQUIREMENTS / CERTIFICATIONS

• 309 or 442A Industrial Electrical license
• At least three years’ experience in a manufacturing environment would be an asset
• Proof of completion of Apprenticeship

COMPENSATIONLocation: Listowel, ON Employment Type: Full-Time, AfternoonsHours: 2:00 pm – 10:30 pm - Monday – Friday, some SaturdaysHourly wage:$44.44 *OT rate (1½) paid after 44 hoursKEY SKILLS / WORKING CONDITIONS
