What You'll Do
Reporting to the department Production Manager, this position is responsible for wiring, mounting and troubleshooting complex electrical components and sub-assemblies of Custom Switchboards. Candidates must have medium to advanced wiring abilities. This role is not a fit for those who have only wired harness style or followed standard layouts of simple electrical components.
Location : Milton ON
Schedule : Mon-Fri, 7 : 00am - 3 : 30pm
Preferred Skills
- Knowledge of Lean manufacturing processes and Six Sigma Tools.
- Have an excellent attitude and commitment to quality, safety, continuous improvement and teamwork.
- Have working knowledge of the mechanical, electrical, and safety operating procedures of a manufacturing facility.
- Able to accurately layout, mount, wire, and troubleshoot industrial power and control components.
- Understand various methods of connection and apply proper methods to the equipment you are building.
- Ability to multi-task and work in a fast paced / changing environment.
- Good communication, interpersonal and organizational skills.
- Good PC skills, including MS office (Word, Excel and Power Point).
- Effective time management and project management skills.
