Job description :
We are looking for an Electrical Estimator to join a dynamic and passionate team within a general contractor based in Quebec. This multidisciplinary company, specializing in construction and engineering, has extensive experience with large-scale projects. It offers comprehensive services, ranging from project management to execution of works.
Responsibilities :
- Review specifications and plans to determine the project's equipment and material needs
- Calculate detailed costs and submit price requests to suppliers
- Analyze supplier proposals and ensure that bids are submitted on time
- Develop work schedules and ensure the transfer of the project to the construction team
- Collaborate with the estimation team to optimize pricing and assist project managers
- Participate in client visits to gain a better understanding of the project and facilitate estimation
