Heavy Vehicle Mechanic – Day Shift

Mécano-Cam Inc. – Saint-Jérôme

Mécano-Cam Inc. is currently seeking an experienced Heavy Vehicle Mechanic to fill a day shift position within its dynamic team.

Responsibilities

Perform general and preventive maintenance on heavy vehicles
Carry out diagnostics and repairs on various units
Complete repairs according to established requirements and standards
Complete inspection reports and work orders
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment

Requirements

Must reside in Quebec (mandatory)
DEP in Heavy Vehicle Mechanics or equivalent experience
Valid PEP card (truck or trailer) – mandatory
Own toolbox and tools
Valid driver’s license
Reliable, punctual, independent, and proactive
Ability to read and understand electrical schematics
Minimum of 2 years of experience in heavy vehicle mechanics

Assets

Knowledge of A/C systems
Knowledge of DPF systems
Class 1 driver’s license

Working Conditions

Salary: $30.00 to $38.00 per hour (based on experience)
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
