Job description
Heavy Vehicle Mechanic – Day Shift
Mécano-Cam Inc. – Saint-Jérôme
Mécano-Cam Inc. is currently seeking an experienced Heavy Vehicle Mechanic to fill a day shift position within its dynamic team.
Responsibilities
- Perform general and preventive maintenance on heavy vehicles
- Carry out diagnostics and repairs on various units
- Complete repairs according to established requirements and standards
- Complete inspection reports and work orders
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
Requirements
- Must reside in Quebec (mandatory)
- DEP in Heavy Vehicle Mechanics or equivalent experience
- Valid PEP card (truck or trailer) – mandatory
- Own toolbox and tools
- Valid driver’s license
- Reliable, punctual, independent, and proactive
- Ability to read and understand electrical schematics
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in heavy vehicle mechanics
Assets
- Knowledge of A/C systems
- Knowledge of DPF systems
- Class 1 driver’s license
Working Conditions
- Salary: $30.00 to $38.00 per hour (based on experience)
- Schedule: Monday to Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
- Shift: Day
- Employment type: Full-time
