Job description
Trans Tank Systems is an assembly and service facility specializing in tanker trucks for the petroleum, water, and aviation markets. We are currently seeking a 3rd year 310T mechanic apprentice.

Qualifications and Requirements:
  • Current 3rd year 310T apprentice.
  • Self-motivated and confident in their abilities to complete our team at our Kinburn location.
  • Candidates will need to provide their own tools and be able to work individually, in a team and with minimal supervision at times. Specialty tools can be made accessible by Trans Tank Systems.
  • Experience with all makes of heavy trucks is an asset.
  • Attention to detail is important.

Job Details:
  • The opportunity for overtime and working weekends will also be provided but won't be required.
  • Trans Tank offers competitive wages and a benefits package, and RRSP contribution matching after a 3-month probation period.
  • Regular weekday hours are 7:30-4:30 Monday to Thursday and 7:30-4:00 on Fridays.

Responsibilities:
  • You will be responsible for performing preventative maintenance, oil changes, repairs and troubleshooting on all makes of medium & heavy trucks.
  • Assisting licensed mechanic with safety inspections and repairs.
  • Properly complete checklists and fill out reports as per company and customer requirements.
  • Troubleshooting, diagnosing, and repairing all components of heavy trucks.
