Job descriptionDeploying, supporting, and maintaining the corporate network across Canada. Providing support for end-users, troubleshooting servers, PCs, printers, and IP phone systems. Installing, supporting, and maintaining current and future Microsoft operating systems used by the company. Training end-users on the effective use of various software. Managing and updating corporate hardware and software inventories. Overseeing corporate antivirus security systems and ensuring they remain up to date. Managing corporate servers, including regular backups. Administering and maintaining the corporate network infrastructure. Supporting and maintaining Lotus Notes and Blackberry Enterprise Server. Maintaining and optimizing the VMware infrastructure. Supporting and maintaining SAN (Storage Area Network) infrastructure. Collaborating with and mentoring the Technical Support Specialist to ensure effective network user support.
Qualifications
- A minimum of two (2) years of experience in a similar position, preferably with an International Freight Forwarding organization.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a customer-focused mindset.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to set priorities and manage workloads efficiently.
- Proficient computer skills, including experience with network management tools.
- Ability to perform well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
