Join Our Team as a Vice President, Farm Technologies in Canada!

Key Responsibilities :

  • Lead sales, service, and marketing teams in Canada with overall P&L responsibility.
  • Act as Managing Director, overseeing operations, technology, product line management, and dealer development.
  • Serve as a member of the GEA North American Leadership team and be the main Canadian point of contact between the Global Farm Technology Division.
  • Drive product portfolio development and market penetration in North America and collaborate with international team for the same in other countries.
  • Support strategy and business development for the manure product business, including sales forecasting and budget planning.
  • Maintain adherence to ISO standards and ensure product quality.
  • Foster a strong corporate culture to enhance employee engagement and retention.
  • Build and sustain customer relationships across various industries.
  • Develop and implement local division and sales strategies, perform budgeting, and execute sales activities.
  • Conduct market analyses to identify growth opportunities and design go-to-market strategies.
  • Ensure compliance with corporate policies, local laws, and manage commercial negotiations.
  • Your profile and qualifications :

  • Master's degree in business management, engineering, agricultural science, or equivalent experience.
  • At least 10 years of relevant experience in sales, service, and general management.
  • Proven track record in steering sales & service organizations and driving sales growth.
  • Fluency in English and French.
  • Advanced business development skills and experience in managing complex change processes across a matrix organization.
  • Proficiency in managing P&L, cost centers, budgets, and KPIs.
  • Familiarity with manufacturing environments, lean manufacturing principles, and value-added services.
  • Experience with legal procedures, labor law, Health & Safety legislation, and commercial regulations.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and public speaking skills.
  • Ability to lead and develop diverse and international teams.
  • Strategic thinking, analytical abilities, and problem-solving skills.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with a strong customer focus and interpersonal skills.
  • Broad experience in unionized environments and union negotiations.
  • Ability to travel up to 40% of the time, primarily within North America.
