Our client is looking for a Senior Accountant in their General Accounting Group on a contract basis with a strong possibilty of extension or full-time permanent.
The Senior Accountant will be responsible for preparing financial reports, managing month-end close processes, and performing balance sheet reconciliations. You will analyze variances, ensure financial data accuracy, and collaborate with internal teams to improve operational efficiency. Your work will support both internal decision-making and external stakeholder reporting.

Responsibilities
Responsibilities -
- Oversee month-end close, journal entries, and balance sheet reconciliations.
- Prepare complex financial statements, analysis, and commentary.
- Conduct variance analysis and work with departments to resolve discrepancies.
- Identify and recommend process improvements based on financial insights.
- Prepare internal and external financial reports (e.g., for government and banks).
- Inventory analysis and reporting is a must have
- Dealing with large volume of data in Excel and preparing dashboards and reports -must have
- Collaborate with business units to ensure financial reporting aligns with operational needs.
