Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Disaster Recovery Tester with expertise in retail IT environments.
The ideal candidate will assess, validate, and improve disaster recovery strategies for critical retail systems, including point-of-sale (POS), inventory management, e-commerce platforms, and payment processing. This role ensures business continuity and operational resilience during system disruptions, supporting seamless customer experiences.
Required Skills and Qualifications :
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 3+ years of experience in disaster recovery planning, business continuity, or IT resilience testing within a retail IT environment.
- Familiarity with retail-specific systems, including POS, inventory management, and e-commerce platforms.
- Strong knowledge of backup and recovery strategies, IT infrastructure, and cloud technologies.
- Experience with DR frameworks (e.g., ISO 22301, NIST SP 800-34).
- Proficiency in creating test plans, documenting processes, and drafting reports.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
