Our client, a leader in trucking and logistics, is looking to hire a Bilingual Director of Operations to join their team!
NOTE : This is an ONSITE role, Monday-Friday
As the Director of Operations for their Trucking Division , you’ll drive operational excellence and help grow the business through effective route planning, truck utilization, load management, and cost controls. You’ll also support business development efforts, identifying new opportunities and collaborating with sales to increase revenue and expand service offerings.
Here's what we're looking for :
- 15+ years in trucking or transportation operations with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field (MBA preferred).
- Proficiency in TMS software, route optimization, and business development in a logistics environment.
- Experience in cost control and operational efficiency initiatives, such as fuel and maintenance management.
- Familiarity with data-driven decision-making to support business development and operational goals.
- Ability to work collaboratively with sales, dispatch, and client success teams to drive business growth.
- Fluency in French and English , oral and written, is required.
