Do you excel in "player-coach" capacity, where you can mentor a direct report and at the same time, present strategic KPI's to the Board ?

Are you a Finance professional coming from the recruitment industry who understands the nuances of contractor billing, commission structures, rapid fire cash flow management ?

If so, we are looking for you!

* partner with the teams as well as the Board
* mentor one direct report
* centrally located and TTC accessible
* competitive salary and total rewards program

Financial Strategy & Reporting

* lead the full-cycle month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring accuracy across all entities
* prepare and present comprehensive monthly management packages, including variance analysis against budgets and historical data
* deliver executive summaries and financial performance insights to the Board of Directors
* manage financial forecasting and provide real-time updates to leadership regarding the company’s fiscal health

Operational Oversight

* direct all treasury functions, including cash flow monitoring, urgent disbursements, and electronic fund transfers (EFT/wire)
* optimize the accounts payable and receivable cycles, ensuring timely resolution of overdue items and vendor queries
* oversee complex billing processes and timesheet submissions to ensure seamless revenue recognition
* manage end-to-end payroll administration, including the processing of bonuses, commissions, and vacation accruals

Compliance & Risk Management

* act as the primary point of contact for external auditors to ensure a smooth annual audit process
* maintain strict adherence to bank covenants and prepare quarterly compliance reporting
* ensure all government filings and regulatory requirements are met accurately and on schedule
* monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) related to contractor management and organizational placements.

Qualifications
* CPA preferred but will also consider other relatable post graduate certifications/degrees
* must be comfortable working in the office 4d/week
* must be a blend of full cycle, hands on operational accounting as well as strategic finance business partner
* must come from the recruitment, staffing, human capital consulting industry

Summary
This is a rare opportunity to step into a high-visibility leadership role where your expertise won't be lost in layers of corporate bureaucracy

If you are a finance professional from the agency world who is ready to own the function and grow alongside an ambitious team, we want to hear from you!
