THE TEAM
The mission of the Planning Department is to build the corporate sales and inventory plan to drive the business entrepreneurially and methodically.
THE OPPORTUNITY
Aritzia is growing and our Planning team is growing with it. This is a unique opportunity to be part of the team responsible for developing assortment plans that maximize sales and minimize risk. As the Director / Sr. Director of Planning, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring we are carrying over the highest potential product while meeting our function plan by sales channel. You will run and continuously improve the infinite stock process used to stack rank styles and determine what is eligible to reorder or carry over. In this role you will partner cross-functionally across Planning, Buying, D&A, Merchants, Integration and more. You have a passion for product and numbers. THE ROLE
As the Sr. Director / Director of Planning, you will lead the team to :
- Define and deliver Aritzia's carryover management approach
- Build, manage, and ensure cross-functional buy-in of Aritzia's assortment carryover process
- Own reporting of in-business processes
- Oversee the carryover lifecycle process
- Work with the appropriate Business Support partners to seamlessly lead the day-to-day function of the department in support of corporate objectives, while enabling progressive career development and an incredible employee experience.
THE QUALIFICATIONS
The Sr. Director / Director of Planning has :
10+ years of retail merchandise planning experience
Comfortable with building complex Excel models
THE COMPENSATION
The typical hiring range for this position is $150,000 to $250,000 CAD per year. The final agreed upon salary may vary based on factors such as job-related knowledge, skills and experience. Additionally, this position may be eligible for bonus and equity.
