I am currently recruiting for one of my clients, a food manufacturing company based in Sainte-Thérèse, for a Director of Operations - Permanent Position - 40h / week
Reporting to senior management, you will be responsible for overseeing all plant operations, including production, maintenance, logistics, and continuous improvement.
Your main responsibilities :
- Operations Management : Optimize production, supply chain, and overall plant organization. Leadership & Team Management : Lead and develop a team of managers and supervisors to ensure operational efficiency. - Continuous Improvement : Implement Lean and Kaizen initiatives to increase efficiency and reduce costs. - Quality & Compliance : Ensure compliance with food safety standards (HACCP, BRC) and industry regulations. - Maintenance & Innovation : Oversee equipment maintenance and integrate new technologies to enhance productivity. - Health & Safety : Promote a strong safety culture and ensure compliance with workplace safety standards. - Budget Management : Establish and monitor operational budgets, approve strategic investments. Your Professional Skills
- Strong leadership and team management abilities - Ability to make strategic decisions and manage multiple priorities - Analytical mindset with a strong focus on continuous improvement - Excellent communication and change management skills
Your Background
Salary : $120,000 - $150,000 based on experience Benefits : Permanent position, 40h / week, comprehensive insurance, company retirement plan
