Vic Studios is Montreal's premier health club — a dynamic, community-driven facility featuring a training floor with stunning views of Mount Royal and world-class studios offering reformer Pilates, spin, functional circuit training, hot yoga and more. We're growing, and we're looking for an exceptional Senior Director of Operations to help lead us forward. The Role Reporting directly to the owner, the Senior Director of Operations is the operational backbone of Vic Studios. You will own the day-to-day performance of the club — driving profitability, elevating the member experience, developing a high-performing team, and upholding the world-class standards our members expect. What You'll Own Club Performance & Administration - Track and report on P&L, KPIs (membership sales, class attendance, retention, and member satisfaction), and operational budgets - Oversee membership and billing accuracy, including renewals, cancellations, refunds, and late payment follow-up - Ensure timely completion of all administrative functions: payroll tracking, class scheduling, instructor coverage, studio bookings, and inventory Operational Excellence - Partner cross-functionally with fitness, marketing, sales, and maintenance leads to ensure seamless, club-wide operations - Drive continuous process improvements that enhance member engagement and satisfaction - Support special events, promotions, and member experience initiatives Team Leadership – Reception & Front Desk - Hire, train, schedule, and coach the front desk team to deliver consistently warm, professional, and on-brand service - Set and monitor customer service standards across all member touchpoints — check-in, check-out, inquiries, complaints, and follow-ups - Step in to support the team when needed Facility & Member Experience - Conduct daily club walk-throughs to ensure cleanliness, safety, and optimal facility functionality - Manage vendor, contractor, and service provider relationships to resolve maintenance issues quickly - Champion a member-first culture in every interaction and operational decision What You Bring - 8+ years of operations management experience, ideally in health & fitness, hospitality, or a high-volume service environment - Proven track record managing budgets and performance KPIs - Strong leadership and coaching skills; experience managing teams of 8–15 staff - A proactive, solutions-oriented mindset with exceptional organizational skills - Proficiency in Excel and point-of-sale or club management software - Bilingual in English and French (required) - Availability for a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays - Full-time, on-site in Westmount location What We Offer - Compensation: $90,000 to $110,000 base salary plus performance bonus and benefits package - Complimentary Vic Studios membership and unlimited class access - Health insurance - A vibrant, passionate team and community you'll be proud to lead
