Brandt is currently seeking a Director of Sales – Precision Agriculture for our Rocky View Agricultural location reporting to the Vice President of Sales - Agriculture. The successful candidate will provide leadership and direction for focused Precision Agricultural product sales. This position is responsible for sales performance, market share, volume growth and aligning sales objectives with Brandt’s business strategy.
Job Duties & Responsibilities :
Achieve sales goals and market share targets for the long-term success of Precision Agriculture’s business throughout the assigned territory.
Assist in achieving asset management goals of turn and aging as well as protection of company assets.
Provide assistance and guidance for forecasting the right mix of inventory to achieve sales and market share goals.
Develop and execute effective sales and marketing programs including advertising initiatives to drive sales growth.
Facilitate and promote corporate sales strategies and initiatives through active participation in corporate strategic planning, sales strategy development, forecasting, sales resource planning, and budgeting.
Interact with the Manufacturer to provide vital user information to assist in the development of new products.
Provide continuous input on the development of standard machine specifications and technology offerings.
Compile and utilize Transaction Pricing information to maximize market-based pricing to increase margins in all equipment groups.
Assist in the recruitment, training, development, and management of dedicated Branch sales staff in the Agricultural technology space.
Provide a focused approach to Precision Agriculture sales aiding in the development and retention of Precision Agriculture Specialists and Precision Agriculture Leads (sales techniques, proposals, training, demonstrations, customer events).
Travel to branches to develop multi-level selling processes with end users and understand unique market challenges; ensure key accounts at each branch are identified and sales strategies are in place to achieve sales growth.
Provide assistance with the negotiation of sales contracts with large customers.
Directly assist in improving sales opportunities with large, very large, difficult and / or challenging customers.
Provide feedback and input to both Brandt and stakeholders into future opportunities and competitive pressures.
Establish and maintain strong public relations with communities, civic, political and industry personnel.
Attendance at Industry events, active participation and promotion of all Divisions of Brandt during the events.
Continuous ongoing communication and contact with the VP of Sales – Agriculture on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis.

Required Skills
Minimum of 5 years’ e xperience successfully selling Precision Agriculture products, complemented by a minimum of 5 years' progressive management experience.
Strong planning, organizational, and time management skills.
Strong communication skills both written and oral.
Proven ability to build and grow sales in a team environment.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
Ability to travel throughout the assigned territory, maintaining an ongoing presence at all physical locations. A minimum of 125 must be spent traveling throughout the operating locations.
Possess a valid Driver’s license and have a clean Driver’s Abstract
Possess and maintain a valid passport and be available to travel internationally.
Required Experience
