Are you looking for a role where your rigor and ability to solve concrete problems will make you a strategic pillar?This operations director position is designed for a professional who is not afraid to take the lead. As the operations director, you will act as the conductor of the internal structure, ensuring the link between financial management and construction management. The incumbent's mission is to ensure the smooth administrative and technological functioning of the organization, while optimizing internal processes and the rigorous management of accounts receivable. Based in Laval, this strategic role combines a global vision with meticulous execution to support the growth of a team of 200 passionate employees.

Responsibilities
As the operations director, your tasks will be varied and essential to organizational performance:

Optimize administrative processes and implement performance indicators.

Standardize work tools and support continuous improvement.Manage IT systems, access, licenses, and technological infrastructure.

Supervise invoicing, customer accounts, and lead collection activities.

Ensure administrative compliance, including the validation of releases and CCQ or CNESST documents.

Manage maintenance contracts, the vehicle fleet, and equipment inventory.

Collaborate closely with financial management for employee files and dispute analysis.Monitor legal mortgage notices and analyze project contracts.

Qualifications
Profile sought for the operations director position
We are primarily looking for a hands-on person, capable of bringing projects to completion with autonomy:

Significant and relevant experience in the construction industry.

Strong analytical skills, mastery of numbers, and results-oriented mindset.

Organizing leadership and a demonstrated ability to implement and maintain rigorous systems.

Excellent mastery of IT tools, particularly Excel (advanced level) and the Office suite.

Knowledge of Acomba software (construction sector) or an equivalent system.

Understanding of legal issues related to the construction field and impeccable writing skills.

Ability to collaborate with various departments and provide concrete solutions to recurring problems.
